Lou Frizzell was an actor who made a successful career for himself in film. In his early acting career, Frizzell appeared in such films as "The Reivers" (1969), the dramatic adaptation "Tell Them Willie Boy Is Here" (1969) with Robert Redford and the Calvin Lockhart drama "Halls of Anger" (1970). He also appeared in the drama "Summer of '42" (1971) with Jennifer O'Neill, the Uta Hagen thriller "The Other" (1972) and "Hickey and Boggs" (1972). His film career continued throughout the seventies in productions like "The Crazy World of Julius Vrooder" (1974) with Timothy Bottoms and the Jack Lemmon comedic adaptation "The Front Page" (1974). He also starred in the TV movies "The Streets of San Francisco" (1972-73) and "Runaway!" (1973-74). He also worked in television during these years, including roles in "The New Land" (1974-75) and "Forever Fernwood" (1977-78). He also was featured in the TV movies "Farewell to Manzanar" (1975-76) and "Lucan" (1976-77). Frizzell last appeared in "Steel Cowboy" (1978-79).
