Hello! Thank you for allowing me on the forum. :) I have been a Bonanza fan for many, many years. I first started watching the show when I was a teenager and a local station where I lived was rerunning episodes. I became quite addicted to the show and loved it so much! My favorite character at that time was Little Joe. I was (and still am) a big fan of Michael Landon and watched all the shows he did over the years. I also adored Hoss for his gentle good humor and Ben for being the best Dad ever! I admit though, at that time, I found Adam rather boring. Now, years later, I have started collecting the series on the official DVD releases and watching it as an adult the strangest thing has happened. Adam has become my favorite character! :-D I can't imagine now why I did not appreciate him before. He is so handsome and I love his sense of humor. Now I look forward to every episode that revolves around him. :-D My favorite dramatic episode is The Crucible and my favorite comedy episode is The Hay Burner. I am up to season six with my DVD sets and to be honest, I'm not sure I want to continue on as I just think the show was not the same after Pernell left. There was just something missing without Adam there. I have seen all fourteen seasons in the past and I know there are some good later episodes , but it just wasn't the same. Anyway, glad to find other fans and I will look forward to browsing around the forums. Especially the one for Adam/Pernell. :-D
