There is such a feeling of comfort and well being. I felt so safe just thinking about the way men protected the family and moms kept us warm, cared for...loved. Bonanza was like that to me - like coming home.

Elaine, nice to meet you (and sorry to be late).
I was born 1981 so I never saw the original airing of Bonanza with my parents, but they used to watch it as kids, and it was a fixed appointment every sunday evening for them. I love it when they tell me about it, how they enjoyed watching it, and now I used to watch a rerun on german TV with my mum (it has been cancelled now

), so I can understand your feelings and memories. It feels like home to me too and I love the boys and the ranch and the stories so much...
