Same - or Different?

Post by pony »

OK, I stole this idea out of Adam's Room :laughing but it's a great topic, so that's really a compliment, right? :yes

Anyway, here's the question - In what ways are you similar to Joe Cartwright - or different? This can be kind of tricky, imo, because I think Joe is SO mercurial. The other Cartwrights are as steady as a herd of rocks, but with Joe, you just never know which way the wind is gonna blow!

I'll go first. One way in which I at least like to think I am similar to Joe - I'm not afraid to stand up to people when I believe someone is being unkind or unfair. This almost cost me my job one time but just as I was writing my letter of resignation (figured I'd better quit before I got fired), my boss called me into his office to apologize (and this was a guy who was NOT famous for saying "I'm sorry.") I felt very Joeish!

One way I am definitely NOT like Joe - I am a lot stingier with my heart! :lol
Life is good.
