Adam POD March 16-21 ~ Why is Adam Angry?

Post by Tahoe Lee »

* Monday *

Let's take a look at some interesting and beautiful pictures of an angry Adam this week. :yes

I thought this article was very interesting... Anger is a Secondary Emotion

"What many people don’t realize is that anger is a secondary emotion. What does this mean? Typically, one of the primary emotions, like fear or sadness, can be found underneath the anger. Fear includes things like anxiety and worry, and sadness comes from the experience of loss, disappointment or discouragement."

"Essentially, anger can be a means of creating a sense of control and power in the face of vulnerability and uncertainty."

The incident with Cass. He refused to sell to Adam's soon to be friend, Ed Payson. Adam tried to buy the goods and Cass wouldn't sell to him either. But then he did.

Adam can't even look at Cass. Why is he so angry?

And this time there was no doctor or medicine for Joe.

He walks out of the house and slams the door behind him.

"I think I'll just get away for a few days. No people, no cattle. Just peace and quiet." Adam, The Crucible.
