I saw this episode yesterday on METV, and had the thought that Adam and Andrea would make a pretty couple. She wouldn't have been a good wife to him, due to her attitude and personality, but they would have looked nice.

This episode has an "Austrian Link" - Andrea an her father are from Vienna, where I live ! So this episode is my personal connection with Bonanza! :yes But how can Andrea have eyes for Dave if Adam is so near ... :eyeroll So therefore completely implausible script. :grin

Great Adam/Hoss episode. I remember Wesly Lau as Lt Anderson on Perry Mason. Great story of how a person can fool people, but his true colors come out. Adam wanted to believe him, the Dave he knew, but also knew as a deputized officer he had to follow the law.

I like this episode, but it bothers me how Dave managed to fool the Cartwrights so completely. I know, there are a lot of episodes where people pass themselves off as someone they're not...but it seems like the Cartwrights have known Dave a long time and still haven't noticed anything wrong with him! *Sigh* I guess since the deception brought about a good episode, it was worth it.
