Irene Tedrow appeared in four Bonanza episodes: "Blessed Are They," "Different Pines, Same Wind," "Abner Willoughby's Return," and "The Sound of Sadness." I especially loved the relationship she had with Joe in "Different Pines, Same Wind" when she played feisty Kerri Pickett!

Irene was born in 1907. She got an acting degree from Carnegie Tech in 1929 and went into stage acting and then movie and TV acting. Although she had incredible talent for both Shakespearean acting and modern acting, Irene usually was cast in supporting roles; her best-known role is that of Ms. Lucy Elkins on Dennis the Menace. Irene married William Edward Kent in 1939, and the couple had two children, Enid and Roger.
