There were many male murderers on Columbo as well and many of them were on Bonanza as well. Ross Martin was in "Little Man Ten Feet Tall" where he played an Italian Immigrant with a talented son.

On a 1971 Columbo, Martin played an art critic in "Suitable for Framing," a "punny" title as Martin played an art critic who was in high demand at art shows and had his own TV show on art appreciation. He shoots and kills his wealthy art collector uncle and then frames his uncle's ditzy ex-wife played by Kim Hunter.
