Hi everyone! I'm new here but not to Bonanza, a show and group of men I've adored since I was a little girl. I was very active in the fandom back in 1999-2002 - on mailing lists and forums and in fanfic circles - but life grew busy raising kids and working and all that wonderful stuff so my Bonanza friends and writing became quite neglected. Sorry to say. Now my youngest is in college and I am finding myself with time enough to become reacquainted with old loves so I am very happy the show is still beloved and the fandom still active.
Is there anyone around from those old days? I don't have my old email from back then so have lost touch with so many friends. My name is Lisa and I wrote fanfics like "Favorite Son" and "Silent Burden" and I even met a whole bunch of you across the border in Maine for lunch one day. I am a big Adam girl (how do I not grow tired of looking at him?), though I adore them all.
Sorry for such a wordy introduction! I'm very excited to be here even if none of my old friends are around --- really hoping to make lots of new ones, too. And thank you so much for having me!
