This Brightened MY Day!

Post by Joe'sGal » Sun Sep 18, 2016 11:13 pm

Sunday afternoon, I attended a performance of Sondheim's controversial musical "Assassins" at The Canton Players' Guild. On my way down the steps, something told me to look up... There I saw a publicity photo of David Canary, just grinning away at me! :thud :hearts

Needless to say, I was too surprised to grab my phone and take a pic. :sob As I recall, the picture was on a large plaque with an accompanying paragraph. I checked google when I got home. I found a Twitter post by a stagehand who had worked with David there in 2004. Further research led me to this little tidbit: According to Wikipedia...

In 2004, he (David) appeared as mathematical genius Robert in a well-reviewed production of David Auburn's Proof in Canton, Ohio, near his hometown of Massillon.

Now, there's something that doesn't happen to a person every day!
