Re: DDG in any language

I could be mistaken, but it seems probable that Joe was the most "multi-lingual" of the Cartwrights. Thanks to his mother, he spoke a little bit of French ("The Julia Bulette Story"). It's not surprising that Joe also spoke some Chinese ("A Rose for Lotta"), probably l...

Re: Joe's Room

Okay, since we're in Joe's Room anyway, let's take a look around. What are some of the items that always catch your eye in the scenes shown in Joe's bedroom? BESIDES Joe himself, I mean. :no Well apart from Joe, the picture of the Indian chief and the crossed daggers on the wall (and the way that t...

Re: Good-bye, Little Joe

Here's a question ... anyone know when Joe was called "Little Joe" for the last time in Bonanza? Well, to me (and to Hop Sing) he never stopped being Little Joe And Hoss referred to him as his little brother throughout the show, never just as his brother I loved it that apart from The Fla...

Re: Joe Cool

And he even has a little bit of a lean going on...I wonder if he had met PR already? :lean :lol Hadn't thought of that! ... But one thing is VERY different between him and PR; this is the only pic I've ever seen where it looks like ML/Joe needed to shave! Don't let that fool you Pony! That's just a...

Re: Showoff ... or just dang good?

I too am kind of partial to Joe's swing mount! Always thought that was quite amazing how he could just hop up there with what looked like so little effort! As for shooting, I can think of a few, but for me it is in 'Calamity Over the Comstock' when he is practicing his shooting because he is about ...

Re: Joe's Pants

I agree, Beel, that Michael got away with a lot back then!! Maybe they thought "it" didn't show up that much on small screen television sets! But with big screen tvs, captures, etc., it certainly shows up today!! :lol Pine :pine Maybe that was why I didn't notice it when I watched as a ch...

Re: Touchy/Feely

Not only does Joe seem completely unselfconscious about displaying his affection for his Pa and brothers, but they seem much more "free" with him too ... and from the very beginning. For example, I think of Adam reaching out toward Joe as they resolve their squabble in "A Rose for Lo...
