Re: Episode 175 - A DIME'S WORTH OF GLORY

Mark Twain did write for the Territorial Enterprise, however Charles Dickens never was in VC except in Bonanza. It was the 5 th season he appeared and by this time historical accuracy wasn’t as good on the show as the first few seasons. The Cartwrights didn’t want to be celebrities. This makes me thi...

Re: Episode 48 - THE COURTSHIP

As far as the show goes with money, they tend to use more coins etc. the first year and much of the second. They seem to get more careless as the seasons roll by their accuracy diminishes.
I like this episode even though the "gentle giant" isn't so gentle with his brothers.

Re: What does your nick stand for?

I was very surprised that I could use my real name because on many places I have to change it to use it at all. One place I had to double the last a, one place add numbers after. I don’t use it in real life because the school kids use to sing song it like Pollyanna. Most people know me as Julie and ...

Re: Episode 56 - THE DARK GATE

This is a well acted and written episode. PR does a superb job of acting, with many different emotions being touched on.We see tears running down his cheeks. One of the few times Adam does so. It does seem too convenient at the end that Ross is back to normal after being shot and dying.

Re: Episode 120 - MARIE, MY LOVE

I just don't remember seeing a scene where Marie dies during the original run. That being said, doesn't mean it wasn't filmed and discarded, never to air on TV. There are many scenes that were shot and chosen not to be used. In the Dark Gate I read Adam and Delphine were supposed to have kissed but ...

Re: Episode 84 - THE RIDE

Although Adam never kisses Mary, you can feel the sexual tension in the scene with her . The touching of his lips with her fingers is a very sensual moment. It is a very telling moment when he gently pushes her away with the back of his hand instead of using his fingers or both hands. Adam should p...
