Wow, Frannie, you're a lucky person!

I remember when David died in the comments section of obituaries, some people said they saw him regularly on the train to NYC or out shopping where he lived and he was always friendly and had some funny remarks about playing Adam and Stuart.

Re: Candy POD, David in "All My Children", 5/17/21

I've seen some scenes with Stuart and Marian in them, they were a lovable couple, a bit awkward sometimes, but lovable. :wink They were indeed awkward Missy, but the awkward was so funny at times. Maybe that's why I really liked Stuart and Marian. All of that heavy drama on AMC needed some laughs a...

Re: Candy POD, David in "All My Children", 5/17/21

Saturday [/b] Let's have another look at one of Stuart's love stories. After his first wife Cindy died of AIDS he was lonely but strong and determined to give Cindy's surviving son a good home and be a good father to him. Adam in the meantime had a long term relationship with Liza, who in many ways...

Re: Candy POD, David in "All My Children", 5/17/21

Thursday [/b] As Missy's great picture find :thumbup of Adam/Stuart and his acting double Richard Green already depicts, David did many hours of double acting on the show to bring Adam and Stuart to life on the TV screen, one aspect of his job was technical and the other is acting talent. https://6...

Re: Candy POD, David in "All My Children", 5/17/21

TUESDAY [/b] After Missy's lovely introduction to our All My Children POD, lets get a little bit deeper into the characters of Adam and Stuart. In the series they are identical twins and initially the writers only had a story line for Adam. They pictured him as a ruthless, manipulative, unethical a...

Re: Candy POD "A week with David Canary at the Theater"

The Fantastics must have been very early in David's career and The Unexpected Man must be towards the end of David's life.  Yes, those two plays were indeed far apart in years and in a way represent David's early experiences and his later mature years on the theater boards. Afaik his first ever pla...
