Re: The Lone Ranger ~ 1949-1957

Excellent! I had a friend who operated a film library and would often speak to many of the old time actors, Clayton Moore being one of them. He was a very congenial type man and was extremely saddened that he was unable to wear his mask for a time. Amazing how the show still stands up and is playing...

Re: Episode 77 - DAY OF THE DRAGON

It’s been a while since seeing this episode, but there’s certain things I find intriguing: Joe not knowing what a girl is; Hop Sing willingly sharing his kitchen; and Adam peeling potatoes. I know it’s not a big deal, the way he does it...I wouldn’t mind him helping out in my kitchen, among other t...

Re: Episode 260 - JOE CARTWRIGHT, DETECTIVE

I have an idea that they used to play many pranks on the lord of the Ponderosa as well.

Re: Episode 260 - JOE CARTWRIGHT, DETECTIVE

Honestly, this silly episode makes me laugh every time, but I think it would have been even funnier had it taken place earlier in the series. I find Joe and Hoss's characters portrayed as more mature by season eight, and this episode knocks them back quite a bit in my eyes. Again, it is cleverly wr...

Re: Episode 166 - THE PRESSURE GAME

I have an idea that Frank stayed away purposely. Can you blame him? If I had the most fortunate opportunity to have been in Laura's shoes, I would have have confronted Adam, asked him what the heck was wrong. If you love somebody, you don't play these stupid games. If Adam was falling asleep at my h...

Re: Episode 199 - THE RETURN

Was that actually Lorne Greene kicking in the barn door to that explosive fire? His son said he was fearless, but did Paramount really let a major star risk his life like this??? It looks like him. He wasn't really close to the flame, but if he had tripped... there is a slight delay from when he ta...

Re: Episode 195 - DEAD AND GONE

Oh sadness, oh sorrow. Adam's final appearance.
I must say something here. For once, Ben is having none of this Howard guy. Ben is suspicious right off the bat, where he usually welcomes anybody and everybody to either come stay at the Ponderosa or come work there.
