Hoss is supposed to keep searching until Mr. Lafitte says he should stop! It just takes up most of Hoss's day.

Ben takes care of Buck and Buck will take care of Ben also!

Joe learned to read braille very quickly when he was blinded by an explotion. He found reading at night a way to relax and fell asleep. Ben tucked Joe in, as he did when he was a boy!

Sometimes brothers [ and sisters] fight but still love each other. They take different views, especially in times of war. Eventually, they can realize each other's point of view and be friends again!

Even zooming this my bad eyes still can't read those letters. In two years my glasses went from 200 to almost 300! So much forgetting old.

The 'Fun With Window Panes' has begun! Joe has bad luck around the glass panes, and why he thought the sofa was a safe place for it I'll never know. Pa wasn't happy to lay down fora nap and hear the tinkling of broken glass! Chubb is jealous that Hoss gets a nap and he doesn't.

Hoss is about to sing 'Joey' to sleep!
Joe was out all night and can't wake up, even at the breakfast table. Pa wants his window fixed, pronto!

I'd listen to Hoss, Mr. Lafitte. He has a good sense of right and wrong.
